Everything you need to know before ordering your TIKA Digital Key.
1. Do I need to purchase a separate SIM card or mobile data plan?
No. TIKA Digital Key has a built-in eSIM, and global mobile data usage is included in your TIKA subscription.
You do not need to purchase, install, activate, or top up a separate SIM card. There are no additional mobile data fees while your TIKA subscription remains active.
2. How does the ordering and installation process work?
Select your vehicle, choose your plan, and book your preferred service center, date, and time. After checkout, you will receive your order confirmation and installation code.
Bring your vehicle and original physical keys to the selected service center. An authorized technician will complete the installation and activation.
3. Where can I have TIKA Digital Key installed?
First, complete your product purchase and installation appointment booking on the official TIKA website. Then, bring your vehicle and installation code to your selected authorized TIKA service center for installation and activation.
TIKA currently has authorized installation service centers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. You can select your preferred service center, date, and time when booking your installation appointment online.
4. How long does installation take? Will any wires be cut?
Installation takes approximately one hour.
TIKA uses a model-specific plug-and-play harness, so no wire cutting is required. The device is installed behind the vehicle’s interior panels and is not visible after installation.
5. Will installing TIKA affect my vehicle’s original warranty?
No. Installing TIKA Digital Key will not affect your vehicle’s original warranty.
TIKA uses a plug-and-play T-harness, so no wire cutting is required. No programming or modification of the vehicle’s original system is involved.
6. Can I cancel my order before installation?
Yes. If your installation code has not been used and installation has not been completed, you can request a refund in accordance with the TIKA Refund Policy.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
7. What warranty and after-sales support does TIKA provide?
Your TIKA warranty remains active as long as your subscription remains active.
TIKA provides free inspection, diagnosis, repair, re-installation, or replacement for TIKA product and standard installation quality issues during the active subscription period.
If you experience a problem, contact TIKA support. We will assist with troubleshooting and arrange a service center inspection when required.
8. Do I need the car manufacturer’s master account?
No. A car manufacturer’s master account is not required.
After installation, simply register a TIKA account using your phone number and activate TIKA Digital Key through the TIKA App.
9. What do I pay for the 7-Day Trial?
The 7-Day Trial includes:
- An AED 50 (USD $15) Refundable Trial Deposit paid online.
- An AED 260 installation fee paid directly to the authorized service center after installation.
- No subscription fee during the 7-day trial period.
AED prices are displayed for reference. Online checkout is processed in USD, and the final USD amount shown at checkout will apply. The AED 260 installation fee is paid separately at the authorized service center.
10. How does the 7-Day Trial work?
The trial begins after TIKA Digital Key has been installed and activated—not when you place the order or book the appointment.
If you decide not to continue, the AED 50 (USD $15) trial deposit will be refunded after free device removal at an authorized TIKA service center.
To continue using TIKA, subscribe in the TIKA App for AED 450 (USD $120) per year or AED 1,100 (USD $300) for three years. Subscription prices are displayed in AED for reference. Payment is processed in USD, and the final USD amount shown at checkout will apply.
