Common questions

1. Does the Tika product include a SIM card?

Yes, our product comes with a built-in eSIM. This eSIM not only works in the country where the device is installed and activated, but it will also remain connected when you drive the vehicle to other countries. Data usage is unlimited as long as you activate the annual subscription for a fee.
2. What is the warranty period?

The warranty remains active as long as you renew the membership. The warranty covers repair and replacement services in case of product issues, at no charge. Therefore, it can be considered a “lifetime warranty” under active subscription.
3. What is the connection range?

Tika offers two types of connectivity options. When you are near the car, Tika uses Bluetooth with effective distance of 10-15 meters. When you are afar/remote from the car, Tika will switch to 4G mobile network, which has no limit in range as long as you are connected to the mobile network.
4. How long does installation take? Will it damage my vehicle?

Installation can be completed within 30 minutes. Our product uses original vehicle connectors with plug-and-play adapters, meaning no wire cutting is required. The device is installed underneath interior panels and is not visible from the outside.
5. Is master account from the car maker required for activation?

No master account is required. After installation, simply register a Tika account on the Tika app using your phone number and scan the QR code on the device to link & activate Tika.
6. What is the difference compared to the original car app? What features are included?

It allows you to remotely start the engine, lock/unlock doors, control windows, and operate the air conditioning. You can use Tika check real-time vehicle information such as driving range, battery voltage, door and window status… etc. Essentially, all functions are supported except controlling the vehicle to move. In addition, Tika app offers Arabic and English user interface and language.
7. Will this affect my vehicle’s original warranty?

No, it will not. Tika uses plug-and-play T-harness so no wire cutting is involved. Also, there is no system programming on the car. Additionally, our product is authorized by multiple international OEMs as genuine accessory and has undergone strict testing and certification to ensure safety and quality.
