Who can become a TIKA Ambassador?

At launch, the programme is for UAE-based creators who own a compatible vehicle, can access an authorised TIKA service centre, have one public primary account with at least 5,000 followers or subscribers, and can create two original videos about their experience. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee approval.

Why do I need to check my car first?

TIKA Digital Key compatibility can depend on your vehicle’s exact make, model, year, configuration and market specification. We only approve applications when the vehicle can be confirmed and installation is available. Check your car here.

What exactly is included if I am approved?

TIKA provides the TIKA Digital Key hardware for the approved vehicle and 12 months of the applicable TIKA service plan, activated after installation. The included service ends 12 months after activation; continuing use then requires renewal at the then-current plan price.

Do I need to pay anything?

Yes. You pay the US$55 installation fee directly to the authorised TIKA service centre after your installation is complete. TIKA hardware and the first 12 months of service are included for approved ambassadors.

What videos do I need to publish?

You will publish at least two public, original videos on your approved primary platform: one covering the installation experience, and one explaining the TIKA features or use cases that are available for your vehicle. Your approval email will confirm the deadline, expected tags and campaign disclosure wording.

Do the videos need to be positive?

No. We want an honest, accurate account of your real experience. However, content must be safe, lawful, respectful, clearly disclosed as a collaboration where required, and must not make claims about TIKA that are inaccurate or unsupported.

How are applications reviewed?

We review vehicle compatibility, installation coverage, account size and authenticity, recent activity, audience relevance, content quality and programme capacity. We may ask for additional information or decline an application even where the listed minimum requirements are met.

When will I receive my redemption code?

Only approved applicants receive a unique redemption code by email. The email will explain how to arrange installation, when the code expires, the US$55 fee you will pay after installation, and your content deliverables. A code is personal, single-use and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash.

Can I install TIKA myself or at another garage?

No. Ambassador installations must be completed at an authorised TIKA service centre. This helps us protect installation quality, activate the eligible plan correctly and provide ongoing support.

What happens after my free year ends?

Your included plan ends after 12 months. To continue using the connected service, you will need to renew your plan yourself at the then-current price. TIKA will not automatically provide a second free year through this programme.

Do I need to label my content as an advertisement or collaboration?

Yes, where required by the rules that apply to you and your platform. Because you receive hardware and service through the programme, you must make the relationship clear to your audience and comply with applicable UAE advertising, platform and disclosure requirements.
